Eating fruit for breakfast can help you to not only think more clearly, but can also help you lose weight and stimulate the digestive tract to energize the body. Eating a clean and light breakfast in the morning is a great way to transition the body from a fasting state to an eating state.

Smoothies
A smoothie to start off your morning is an excellent choice for breakfast. Smoothies are a great option for anyone on-the-go. You can blend one up in minutes before you leave the house and sip it on your way to wherever you are headed that day. Smoothies are a quick and easy way to start your day with a ton of nutrients that will help you put your cravings at bay. You can even load them up with your favorite HBN products (MIND, BODY, SOUL, NOURISH, & SLIMMER) and get all kinds of superfoods and herbs for an extra healthy boost! You could even replace regular ice with homemade VITALITEA ice cubes! Smoothies offer lots of options and taste delicious! Frittata Florentine
- 6 egg whites
- 3 whole eggs
- ½ tsp. dried oregano
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 scoop of MIND, BODY or SOUL
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ¼ tsp. pepper
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 turkey bacon strips, finely chopped
- ¼ cup red pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 cup fresh baby spinach
- 3 tbsp. basil leaves thinly sliced
- ½ cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
In a small bowl, whisk the first 7 ingredients; set aside. In an 8-in. ovenproof skillet, sauté onion, red pepper and bacon in oil until tender. Reduce heat; top with spinach. Pour reserved egg mixture over spinach. As eggs set, push cooked edges toward the center, letting uncooked portion flow underneath until eggs are nearly set. Sprinkle with basil and cheese. Broil 3-4 in. from the heat for 2-3 min. or until eggs are completely set. Let stand for 5 minutes. Cut frittata into four wedges. You can also add any other vegetables, meats, or cheeses you would like.

French Toast Chia Pudding
- ¼ cup chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened vanilla soy or nut milk
- 1 packet of stevia
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 scoop NOURISH
- Pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp. pure maple syrup
- 1 apple chopped
- 2 tbsp. chopped walnuts
Mix the chia seeds, nut or soy milk, stevia, cinnamon, NOURISH, and nutmeg together and refrigerate overnight; serve with apples, syrup and walnuts topping. You can also put any other nuts, fruits or toppings you would like!

Yummy Scramble
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup sweet onion, chopped
- ¼ cup tomato, chopped
- ⅛ tsp. dried basil
- 1 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- dash of salt & pepper
In a small nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, cook and stir the onion over medium eat until tender. Add tomato, basil, salt and pepper; cook 1 minute longer. In a small bowl, whisk egg and water. Add egg mixture to the pan; cook and stir until egg is completely set. Remove from the heat. Sprinkle with the cheese. Cover and let stand until cheese is melted. You can customize this recipe with other vegetables or add meat to your liking.

warm honey grapefruit
- 1 medium grapefruit
- 2 tsp. honey
- Dash ground cinnamon
Cut the grapefruit in half with a sharp knife. Carefully cut around each section to loosen fruit. Place on a baking pan with the cut side facing up. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Broil for 2-3 minutes or until bubby. Serve warm.
